Fire Erupts at Scrap Collection Warehouse in Dong Van I Industrial Zone
19/02/2024At 5:50 a.m. on June 28, 2023, a fire broke out at a scrap collection warehouse in the Dong Van I Industrial Zone in Duy Tien Town, Ha Nam Province. The warehouse is owned by Ha Thanh Manufacturing Co., Ltd., although it has been inactive since 2019 and is currently leased to Hoa Binh High-Tech Environmental JSC. The Fire and Rescue Police Force of Ha Nam Province responded quickly, deploying six fire trucks, one equipment transport vehicle, and 50 officers and firefighters. They also mobilized additional manpower from Dong Van III and IV Industrial Zones, along with 20 officers from related infrastructure investment companies. By 8:10 a.m., the fire was fully controlled and extinguished, and fortunately, there were no casualties. The area affected by the fire was approximately 3,000 square meters.
