Major Fire at Plastic Manufacturing Company in District 8
19/02/2024A significant fire broke out at a plastic manufacturing company in District 8, Ho Chi Minh City, leading to one death. The victim has been identified as Mr. Dao Dinh T., 57 years old, an employee of the company. The incident occurred at approximately 11:23 p.m. on September 8. The Fire and Rescue Police Force of Ho Chi Minh City responded quickly, deploying about 100 officers and firefighters, along with 17 specialized fire trucks to the scene. The fire affected an area of approximately 2,000 square meters, but by the early morning of September 9, the Fire and Rescue team had successfully controlled the blaze and prevented it from spreading to neighboring residential buildings. In total, 482 square meters of the company's warehouse were destroyed, along with various other assets.
